Dear students, this is a quiz about the measuring tools of length, mass and volume.

• Light travels in straight lines.

• As a result of travelling light in straight lines, some phenomena happen such as formation of inverted images through narrow holes (the idea of camera) and formation of shadows.

• The image formed through narrow holes (pinholes) is inverted and minimized (small)

• As the object becomes nearer to the light source, its shadow becomes bigger.

• Shadow is the darkened area which is formed as a result of falling of light on an opaque object.

• Materials can be classified according to their ability to transmit light into transparent materials, semi transparent (translucent) materials and opaque materials.
