Dear students, this is a quiz about the elements, their properties and their importance.

you have learned that:

• The element is the simplest form of matter that can’t be decomposed into two substances or more.

• Elements are classified into metals and non metals.

• Metals are good conductors of heat and electricity, they have metallic  luster, their melting points and boiling points are high.

• Non metals are bad conductors of heat, they are bad conductors of electricity except carbon, they don't have metallic luster and their melting points nd boiling points are low.

Aluminum	Metal	في صنع اواني الطهي وورق الفويل ومقابض الابواب in making cooking pans, foil paper and doorknobs.
Gold and silver	Metal	في صنع الحلي والمجوهرات in making jewels.
Copper	Metal	في صنع الاسلاك الكهربية والتماثيل والعملات المعدنية in making electric wires, statues and metallic coins.
Carbon	Non – metal	في صنع الاقطاب الموجبة للبطاريات in making the positive poles of dry cells (batteries).
